Birth + Postpartum Doula + Parent Educator in Edmond/OKC metro and surrounding areas within 120 miles for births and all over the U.S. for postpartum services
Thank you for being here and congrats on embarking on this incredible journey of pregnancy and parenthood! Iโm Melanie and Iโm a mama to a strong, determined, wild, and free spirited five year old girl and a sweet baby girl that joined us in January of this year. Both girls changed our lives in the best way and bring so much joy to those around them. Giving birth to my daughters is
my greatest achievement and my first birth experience
sparked my passion for birth and the desire to help others have an amazing birth experience.
My second birth experience transformed me yet again and gave me a new perspective on how resilient women can be when they are supported and held.

Education empowers you and leaves no space for fear.
I am passionate about informed consent and ensuring my clients know they have options and what those include. This is your birth and your baby. I am not currently teaching group classes but I highly encourage first time parents to take a birth class and offer a discount if you choose to take a class on the list linked below.

What is a Doula?
Think of a wedding coordinator but for your birth. The word โdoulaโ comes from the Greek language and means โa woman who serves.โ A doula is a non-medical professional labor support person. A doula will provide information and resources during pregnancy to help you reach your birth goals, continuous physical support during your labor, and encouragement and emotional support for both you and your partner as well as anyone else that you invite into your birth space. A doula will not perform any medical exams or procedures, provide any medical advice or care, replace your partner, or make any decisions on your behalf.
What does a postpartum doula provide?
A postpartum doula provides information, resources, and support to help you transition to being home with your new blessing. This may include: feeding, overnight infant care, postpartum recovery, running errands, and any task that will help you do whatโs most important; taking care of yourself and your baby. Postpartum packages available.
